Regimental & Glengarry badges
Mr. MacDougall had request assistance in a search for a caduceus kilt pin. I suggested perhaps an old unit cap badge. Which reminded me of a search I did a couple of years ago.
My brother and I want to present dad with some service history of Granddad. he served in WW1 as a Sarjent in the Royal Field Artilliary. We were able to download his service record or a modest fee from the national archives Kew Gardens (they have most WW1 records on line now). We were then able to get reproductions of the medals he was awarded and have them mounted with an RFA cap badge. I had kept this site in my favourites and some of you may find it of interest as they have some glengarry badges availiable.
Go to www.egframes.co.uk/
I got the reproduction medals from www.worcmedals.com/. Medals from many countries are availiable including UK, US, Canada.
