In the British army we have a similar belt to the Hungarian Parade belt, we call it a stable belt. It is a bit wider than the Hungarian one, The canvas is woven in the regimental colours and the buckle has the regimental badge on it. I have been thinking of getting one of my old unit belts, removing the canvas and putting a leather belt on the buckle. It would make a great kilt belt.
