There was a half-page article on this very subject in yesterday's Sunday Post (Scottish newspaper), but it gave no more information than the BBC's piece. In fact, it was very similarly worded and probably taken from a news agency report - Reuters or its ilk. This is a link to the Sunday Post's on-line version:

What we need is 'detail'. Detail as to how we are, or are going to be, affected by this legislation. Interestingly, only Scotland has been mentioned thus far as being affected - what about us sporran wearers in other parts of the United Kingdom? Surely this has to be a national matter, not regional.
