A final word on Kilt Kamp
Bobbie and I just dropped Barb and David off at the ferry terminal for the start of their trip home. Kiltman and Katie Roth are packing up and will leave tomorrow. Derek has had his motorcycle repaired and will stay with us one more night before heading back home. Kilt Kamp is officially over.
I would like to thank all who attended. Without the superb people of this forum Kilt Kamp would not have been the wonderful experience you have seen in the photos this last week.
For those of you who could not attend, you missed my announcement Friday night that Freedom Kilts has a new home!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On Friday at 6:00pm I got the keys to the building Bobbie and I just bought for the new, and final, home of Freedom Kilts.
We have a month till the lease runs out on our present shop and I will be using that time to set up shelving, arrange storage, and move our furniture slowly over. Luckly the new shop is just around the corner from the current one.
(My morning commute however has increased yet again. What was 245 steps became 259 steps and now will be 263 steps.)
I'll post pics as the move progresses but if this week goes well with prospective tenants I hope to announce the formation of "The Freedom Kilts Celtic Center" with a leather worker, Celtic jewelry worker, and Traditional Kiltmaker on site with us.
Wish us luck as we re-locate and if you are ever in town the coffee is on, there are cookies in the jar, pull up a chair and join in the conversation.
