    Brodie Hunting Ancient Kilt

I received my newest kilt from Kathy Lare a few weeks ago but have only just now been able to post some pictures. This kilt is in Locharron's Brodie Hunting Ancient in their 16 ounce Strome. It has a double fringe on the right edge of the apron.

This kilt has two straps on the right and one on the left. The left strap goes through a button hole to mate with the buckle. This is no doubt traditional fare, but I can only compare to my first kilt, a box-pleat by Matt with just two straps.

This is my first knife-pleated kilt. I like the swing it produces while walking . The pleating to sett is amazing to me.

I'm wearing a new belt I had made for my Don McKee thistle belt buckle. It is a good match for my thistle kilt pin.
