Dear Mr. W. Ompet,

I am most grateful for your notice of this sad error in my narrative and gentle instruction to rectify this fault. I have edited the passage in question to accurately reflect that Grant’s Blimp does indeed resemble the Canadian flag.

Those curious as to the reasons for the English born Grant’s choice of the Canadian flag over the Cross of St. George or the Union Jack, will hopefully find some illumination in the next chapter.
