Sport Kilt seam?
If you have a SportKilt, I'd like to hear your opinion.
I just got my first one. Ordered from them b/c Seamus was very nice, answered some questions for me, very prompt responses, etc. Nice website, well recommended, etc. I wanted a casual kilt for knocking around in the woods, wearing to bars or other occassions I wouldn't want to damage a "nice" kilt. Can't say ANYTHING bad about Seamus or the company, but want your thoughts on this:
The bottom seam (what would be a selvedge edge on a trad. kilt) wanders up and down across the tartan pattern the whole way 'round the kilt. Looks shoddy. I mean -- how hard is it to follow a tartan stripe and stitch a straight line? Did I just get a "Monday morning/Friday afternoon" product, or is this pretty standard for SportKilts (and, am I just being too friggin' picky)?
