Dioning with Morons
Off topic, maybe. The wife and I went out for dinner last night at one of our favorite restaurants. It's in a little town not too far from home, inhabited my mostly illiterate morons and neer-do-wells. I was kilted. There was a party at the table behind us. I had had 2 beers. I did not hear what they said, but my wife did. When we got in the car to go home, she told me some of the comments that were made about me wearing a kilt. Not only did they cast dispersions about me, but they were making rude comments about my wife. I just wish I had heard the comments they made. They had at least 3 generations at the table. Had i heard the comments, I would have said, At least i can go home and put pants on. You will be morons forever. Then I would have asked why they were teaching their children to be morons, too. Maybe it's better that I did not here the morons speaking. Anyway, I wear the tartan for me, not for any one else. But the waitresses liked it. Her mother even tried to take our table away from her own daughter.
