kilted advantages
My wife and I decided to dine at a local resturant tonight which is operated by and Englishman and his Irish wife. I have lunch there once in a while, usually kilted, and always am welcomed by the wife. Her husband is the head chef and I rarely get to see him. Whenever I show up un-kilted, she gives me grief. Anyway, tonight is was crowded more than usual, and upon arrival we were greeted warmly but warned that all the diners there and to come had reservations. They were turning away people the whole while. But, for the kilt, she soon found us a table and provided the good service and wonderful fare they are known for. Without the kilt it is unlikely we would have gained admittance! My wife even commented on this to our elder daughter who joined us a little later.
Just one more reason to wear a kilt out!
