Tunes of Glory, hands down. The attention to detail, the faithfulness to the book (the author was one of the writers of the screenplay) and the acting was first rate.
It is not only my all-time favourite Scottish movie, but my all-time favourite movie, period.

I'm with Todd. I can watch this movie over and over again. I've worn out the VHS and am working on wearing out the DVD. The book is excellent too.
There have been lots of other good movies mentioned as well. "I Know Where I'm Going" is on my list to see; I've heard of it but never seen it.
