Great Guinness Toast
I haven't seen anything here about the Great Guinness Toast that will be held this Friday, 15 Feb, at bars all around. For those not familiar with the event, at a given point in time, everyone raises their glasses in a toast to Arthur Guinness. The bars count how many folks participated, and that gets reported to someone who totals up the number of people participating in the largest simultaneous toast. In the US it occurs at midnight eastern time, 11 pm central time, etc.
The date is also referred to as St. Practice Day.
Is anyone going out for it? I'll be at Paddy Coyne's in Tacoma.
