Dalmarnock unfortunately has so far missed out on many of the developments that have happened in Glasgow over the last few years. It makes me sad when I drive through it and still see the decay amongst some of the new build that still dominates the area.
Although things could dramatically change soon with the development of the new sports complex and training village that will be built for the forthcoming Commonwealth Games in 2012. This will be built opposite Celtic Park and should bring much needed employment to the east end of the city
