Come to think of it, I was wearing one of my Robertson Reds when that waitress kilt-checked me.
Good morning Wompet,
Yesterday evening Chrystel and I figured out how we were going to pleat the Robertson red, at least in theory. We are gonna make a few pleats and see how it turns out. Chrystel doesn't look worried at all .
One thing is for sure : The top of the box will be narrower than the MacKinnon's. That will increase the number of pleats and should give this heavy 16 oz. kilt more swing. Wich is always good... As Steve has it : "Swish + Swagger = Swoon." The previous MacKinnon was a lighter Polywool.
I think you can well imagine how thrilled and excited we are !
The thing is, Chrystel has other priorities in her sewing list (she's working on a friend's wedding outfit) and won't be able to start the kilt before a few weeks.
