I kind of like the softer feel of the fabric in some ways, but don't tell anyone.
I used to worry about the kilts being acrylic as well. However, I have noticed that my SWK acrylics do not wrinkle anymore than my 5yd, 16oz worsted wool. In fact, last year I rode in the car for 12 hours on a trip from Missouri to Ohio wearing my Hunting McCleod standard. I had very little wrinkling in the pleats (I checked in a full length mirror at my mom's house in Ohio). You get a bit of pilling after a few washings, but a sweater shaver every now and then takes care of it.
Keith, Congrats on the new kilt. Jerry is a great guy, and cares that his customers are happy with his products.
