    I cary a backpack over one shoulder quite a bit, but usually leave it in the car if I'm going in a store or something. I'm not sure that it really goes well with a kilt or anything else for that matter. A big rectangular shoulder pouch made of leather or stif canvas like everyone else is talking about would go over alright. It seems like letter cariers used to have those a lot and they looked alright...
