Hunting McLeod was great as always, and it was good to get out and see some friends, and meet new ones. The ussual cast of characters were in attendance, Dave was there when I showed up as was Grant and his family, it was nice to finally meet them all. Shortly after my arrival Uncle Ricky walked through the door, and later in the evening I had the pleasure of meeting the rest of his band. I'm glad we made reservations as it was busy, there was a large group of people there who had raised over $2000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. A bit later in the evening Peter showed up and it was great to see him again. The only damper on the entire evening was that some drunk guy grabbed the apron of my kilt and lifted it, now I'm not all that shy but it took me a back to say the least, and it happened so fast that there was no time to do anything about it, in the end he's the one who looked stupid in my opinion. Anyway here are some pictures of the evening, sorry about how fuzzy some of these are, the night portrait setting does that.
The Band

Al the piper

At one point in the night the band calls up two members of the audience to come up knowing that Grants kids were there they called them up to play the Drum and the tambourine

A proud Dad who apparently didn't get the message that this was indeed a kilt night

Here we see Dave explaining the benefits of kilt wearing, to a poor unfortunate

Dueling cameras

Here we see Grant doing his best cessna152towser impersonation

More to come
