Leg wear
Ok I started a thread about alternatives to hose some years ago, and still the ugly question still looms.
Someone on another thread mentioned Liam Neeson and the use and type of kilt he was wearing in the film Rob Roy.But did you see what he was wearing on his lower legs.I believe this was sheepskin wrapped and tied around.
Now I don't expect everyone to rush out and buy sheepskin and put it on, but I cannot accept that the only thing to keep my legs warm are hose.As a note of interest where I live in Scotland it does get damn cold and the wind is blowing most of the time.
So over the years since I last came to this forum I've been experimenting, and what I came up with are horse riding half chaps. These are calf length and are elasticated at the side with a zip attatched.
Now I came to this find due to seeing army pipers wearing white spats and just took the idea further.

I posted a web site just as a example to what half chaps look like but don't know this company myself.
Your thoughts please.
