1939 Kilt
My husband's grandfather purchased his kilt from Scotland in '39. He was a Senator from BC in Canada. He never wore his tux after that, only the kilt, even when he was presented to the Queen in '55. We had it remade so our middle son could wear it to our Clan Donnachaidh dinner dances. He wore it when he got married last month in New York. One Very Special Kilt in our family but not as old as yours, which sounds like a real treasure. Mary
