I marked Baritone, but it really depends on which group I'm in when I'm singing. In the Gospel Choir at church, I'm a Bass. In the small ensemble, I sang Tenor last week. I switch back and forth to cover whatever part is needed.
One thing I've noticed: as I get older, my range is dropping. Right now, I can sing a G (1 1/2 octaves below middle C) to an A (above middle C).
In college, I sang first or second tenor, depending on the need. After college, I continued singing. At first I was I was a tenor, but at one of the last concerts, they had me sing Bass. (I've sung Beethoven's 9th multiple times as a tenor and once as a bass)
What makes it worse, is that I also play trumpet (and a number of other instruments as well.)
I like the descriptions of each voice part. I know this is an older thread, but I had to respond. The musician in me couldn't let it go by.
