Hey all,

Just finished my final games of the season. Could it all be over this quickly? What a summer! A year and a half ago I was in a wheelchair with Doctors telling me that I'd be able to walk again, but re-hab to the point of being as active as I once was, was just not going to happen.

Every day, every rep, every exercise I spent in re-hab, I thought about some day making it back out onto the field and competing. No thought to distances, etc--just getting back out there with the sun on my face and being able to be active again. My first games back I was as nervous as could be--but I wound up winning my division.

Well, I still have more to accomplish (spins on WFD are still not there--but this weekend a few guys chuckled as they said--"man, that guy BRAEMAR'S the WFD!), but this year I set to Personal Records--shealf and WOB. I also (after getting some VERY good coaching) picked some rather nasty cabers.

Not bad for a 43 year old who is 5'7" 185.

I made it through 3 games including a 2-day Pro Am and met some of the nicest guys you could hope to meet.

On to the training season! Thanks all for your coaching and encouragement!

-Best of luck to those who still have upcoming events--and good luck as well to all of us begining the training season.
