I intended to go Saturday, but eventually went on Sunday, at the end of the festival, and brought my son with me.
He is now the proud owner of a flat cap! He is 15 and was wearing jeans and a shirt with a pattern made up of skulls, and yet somehow the flat cap looked right with those clothes. I think he may be contemplating the idea of getting a tweed jacket. I don't think he is likely to want a kilt any time soon, though.
So, the $35 kilts I saw must have been from Get Shirty, then? That's cheaper than they charge online. I think they are at least that many pounds, plus P&P (postage and packing, which Americans insist on calling shipping, even when it's by air or across dry land!).
