Actually this is me committing a whole bunch of DON'Ts.

So I post this for your amusement at my expense.
But it was too hot and humid for hose and broags, and I had drunk enough to think that the leather cutoff was a good match..

(And I'm sure you'll find a few more DON'Ts I didn't think of.)
But I was wearing a kilt and was having fun doing so.
Oh well...

Man, I see a whole lot of DO's there! I love the look of the leather vest with the kilt. I have been wanting to get a new one myself. I used to have a nice black suede vest, but I outgrew it. There's nothing at all wrong with wearing a kilt with sandles so long as your not also wearing... say... an Argyle jacket with it as well. sandles and a t shirt work well. That's the beauty of the kilt- even the contemporary ones. They can be dressed up or down to accomodate the situation. I think brogues may have been a little too dressed up for that little party anyways!
