Help Josh make a kilt Part1
OK you guys-
So I got to the part about measuring. It says to make 3 different spit options, so I did.
Waist: 42 (Split#1)A:21,P:21 (Split#2)A:22,P:20 (Split#3)A:22.5,P:19.5
Hips: 46 (Split#1)A:23,P:23 (Split#2)A:22,P:24 (Split#3)A:21.5,P:24.5
I did the following formula-Split#1 equal half, split#2 1 inch difference, split #3 1.5 inch difference
My first question is how should I ACTUALLY determine how much measurement should go into spit options.
My second question is how do I determine which is the best one?
I understand that the waist apron measurement should be bigger than the pleats (Unless the individuals waist is bigger than the hip..right?)
Also, the hip apron measurement should be LESS than the pleat measurement (Right?)
Thanks for the initial help-Just getting started on this, so I'm sure there will be many more parts.
Just a note for Dr.Tewksbury if you're reading this-PLEASE consider a companion video CD as a supplement. I have a feeling if I could see you demonstrating, it would be soooo much easier.
