The straight leg gives such a nice drape, too, and as you move, reveals and hides the leg underneath. It was a great look. 25 years ago, I had a pair of gray flannel trousers cut very much like that - long since outgrown - and I miss them still.

Thinking back, I always liked the way the high waist trousers looked too. I love the way they fit on me.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
