I was at the local strawberry fest in my Royal Stuart (or however it is spelled) today, (seemed a fitting color) and I had a handful of interesting things said or asked, none inquiring about what was under the kilt.

The first comment was a guy who said he never gets to wear his kilt, and I simply said 'all you have to do it put it on and go outside' which is the real answer in the most basic of terms.

What really made my dad, in a way, was I overheard behind me "...guy...skirt" which I decided I might want to hear what was coming next, which was from his companion "Is...that...I think that's a kilt!" and nothing else was said that I could hear.

Sadly, I think I was the only kilted person. The sole guy in the Celtic dance group in the parade was wearing a black shirt with long black pants. I felt sorry for him.
