'Tis the life's blood of all Canadian hockey fans. For American beer we always say "the Vet called, your mule has diabetes". Beer here is generally 5% or 4% for light beer, Some beers approach 7%. Molson's, I've found has gone down the toilet. Better beers can be found and local micro-breweries. Having said that, when drinking light beer I always drink Coors Light (brewed by Molson's) and is most likely nothing like it's US name sake. The only time I drank beer in south of the border was in my late teens and I'd order imported Canadian beer.

Still I'd like to think that the reputation of weak-kneed American beer is past and that quality suds is driven by a more discerning demand. Having said that, should you find yourself in SOKS country you will find yourself admiring our selection of fine Canadian beers, lagers and ales (hic!).
