Salmon fishing in the Highlands, Sept. 2009

Not the best season for salmon this year, but here are a few pictures of my family and friends trying to add to the score in late September. They caught 25 salmon in 6 days which were all returned safely back to the river. Sadly, I was not nimble enough to be where the action was, when a fish was caught.

An hour after dawn, all is quiet.

Trying to catch a fish before breakfast.

    After breakfast,a better light.

A likely place for a fish.

    Casting a good line.

Just an old picture to show what we are trying to catch!
