I should have noted that Todd played Cpl. Lachlan "Lachy" MacLachlan in The Hasty Heart and The Rev. Peter Marshall, a Coatbridge man, in A Man Called Peter. Marshall was the originator of the Kirkin' of the Tartan service during the Second World War.
