Just in case it's important... my Gaidhlig/Beurla dictionary shows the pronunciation thus: navij which I think might also be shown as NAW-veej or NAY-veej in a more Americanese version. You'd probably be safe with either of those given the great variations in Gaelic dialects from region to region.
