The seller of the fabric did feel sorry about the mix up on his end and has offered me the new RRS tartan at a very good reduced price. I may take up his offer - it is 16oz - not the really heavy weight material. So, the plan is to consider buying a WPG Gordon to be my winter kilt. As luck would have it my building was rented out for a day to film the series "Fringe" last week. so, unexpected money may = 16oz RRS material+wpg Gordon winter kilt = happiness
