Southern trip - Invercargill and Dunedin NZ 2010

Relics of the old Chinese golds miners have been restored for visitors, funny thing is we used to play "war" and hide and go seek through all these buildings and pay them no mind when i was a kid.



She must of been a hard life for the Chinese settlers, being in a minority and being so far away from home.



Some are cut into the hill side as stores.



The Arrow river, scene of the gold rush and a place that I grew up swimming in and playing around (not this bit, a tad shallow) and where my mothers side of the family (Mcleods) made their / his money and was able to send home to Tongue and bring out the remainders of the family.



Over to Queenstown for a visit, and up the hill via cable car for some luging, which is reached by chair lift and is awesome fun.

The green shed on the left is a bungy jump off the side of the mountain.
