Thing is, I always thought the UK WAS meant to be basically analogous to a pair of jeans.

About the most "dressed up" I've ever pulled with a UK was polish on my boots, and the "good" Ike jacket. Heck, wearing a denim right now w/a BACA t-shirt and a pair of Vibram Fivefingers...

Then again, I tend to tell people (who try to tell me "how to do it") to fold their opinion in all corners, and stick it in their oubliette...
