When I have a conundrum in life, I will seek out the most qualified people to help answer it. So naturally when I think of this place, I think “Well they are smart enough to know that pants are not the limit, so in my book that makes them pretty smart.”

Halloween is in over two months, but I am a very serious costumer. This year, the place I work, no one else wants to dress up, so I have to pull out all the stops. I had been thinking what I wanted to do all week. I was trying to think of a costume that would both conform to my idea of looking bad-assedly cool, while also indulging in my love for pre-industrial military iconography. Not to mention I have some excesses paper mache and a spare helmet and want to make a really cool samurai kabuto.
Anyway, the plan for my costume—which I call “A history of Violence” is to devote one part of my body to an Iconic Historical Warrior Figure. I have: head, Arm, Arm, Leg leg and Torso. So that’s six thing.

My problem: I am a bit unsure what to pick for each Iconic warrior Figure. They have to be something that the common man. So far here is my list of things I can think of:

Samurai Kabuto ( Head Piece)
Greek Hopilite
Viking Raider (kind of a generic barbarian type look, but its recognizable to the public)
Generic European Armored Knight ( again, pretty generic, but recognizable)

Anyone here have some thoughts?
