Thanks to Robert and Chrystel for posting the picture. {my computer's security system doesn't like this site for some reason} The close-up is one of my original issue Canada Post hat badges, dating from the mid 1970s. I still use the other one, being one of handful of lettercarriers in Vancouver who still regularly wear the old military style peak cap.
The little building behind me is a tool shed at a community garden, built from cob--straw, clay and sand--a building method many centuries old.
EPITAPH: Decades from now, no one will know what my bank balance looked like, it won't matter to anyone what kind of car I drove, nor will anyone care what sort of house I lived in. But the world will be a different place, because I did something so mind bafflingly eccentric that my ruins have become a tourist attraction.
