Good job! Looks like you've jumped in with both feet, mate.

And that tartan is mighty handsome. I usually don't go for the "bright" colors, but I really like that one. I like the use of the dark red, and the purple and black lines add some real interest. It's almost as if the lines aren't "expected" and your attention is drawn to them.
