Hello from Southern California
Greetings to all. My wife has been after me for years to get a kilt. Lack of places to wear them (not acceptable to my workplace) has hindered her quest.
This year it looks to change, though. We are engaged in enough social activities where the kilt will be appropriate that I'll be getting (at least) one. But there is so much to learn... thanks to all of you for being here.
My first kilt will be using the California State Tartan. Going back 400 years we can trace our roots through England and France, but cannot find any Scots. What were they thinking?
