First Public Kilted Experience
Today I went into town to the Irish Embassy Pub for some corned beef and cabbage and wore my kilt in public for the first time! I was pretty nervous for it being my first time, not knowing what to expect. I accually didn't get that many comments, strange considering how PACKED the place was, but I did get a lot of strange looks. The comments I did get were very nice, (nice kilt! We like your outfit!) But on my way home I saw a man walking alongside the road wearing full ceremonial garb. I would have stopped and talked if there hadn't been so much traffic, but it's nice to know I'm not the only kilter in our little town. Sorry I didn't take any pics, (camera not working) but I wore my Robertson Casual kilt with a Semi-Dress sporran and Red Wing work boots. Happy St. Pat's! ith:
