Just something to consider before parting with your cash.

The tweeds pictured above, wonderful though they be, are in my view bordering on being too loud for kilt jackets. Those types of patterns are fine on hacking jackets, fine out on the hill deer stalking, fine out on the moor grouse shooting, fine at a race meeting, fine as an every day sports coat, but I really am not at all sure that style of tweed pattern are fine as a kilt jacket. Something a tad more subdued might be a better option, so that the tartan of your kilt remains the focus rather than the jacket.

Just a thought.
