I spent Saturday hiking in the Big Basin Redwoods State Park near Bolder Creek California. I was in my County Kerry 8 yard machine stitched kilt from the ebay store front of Tartanweb. I purchased it just before that horrific fiasco one of our members experienced earlier this year. It is a good "get what you pay for" kilt made with good material with only a couple of small hiccups in one of the horizontal tartan lines. I believe I paid about $240 US at the time, which it is well worth.

Here it is in action with some of the biggest living things on earth.

Me doing my best "California Tree Hugger"

Many of the trees are really old and have been through numerous fires through the centuries.

Just standing along a stream
