I had a good time in Franklin Fri & Sat at Taste of Scotland. I met Ryan and Abigal Fri afternoon at the museum and Fri night I was called up at the ceilidh to model my recently received (2 months ago) Ryan Ross Highland Bonnet to promote sales of the raffle tickets.
During the opening ceremonies, I heard "Santa bells" approaching. It wasn't Santa, but it was 3 folks from the "Sticks in the Mudd" group arriving. Eight folks who wear straps of bells on their lower legs and jackets covered with strips of multi-colored cloth. They perform unusual routines dancing with sticks to their group music. It was the first time for me to witness the unusual and interesting group. They have FUN.
I was down in the Tartan Museum when the winds hit, it was all over when I came back up from the lower level and saw the tents and chairs were all removed. Fortunately the wind didn't hit till most of the events had concluded.
I left some of my money in the Tartan Museum gift shop.
