Love These Factoids

It is going to a US state it has not yet been, and 172nd most populous city in the United States. There is a Harley Davidson dealership is housed in what was originally a movie theater dating from the early 1950s. Another interesting point about the next destination is that a local Mexican restaurant was the setting for one an irreverent cartoon episode.
I love all these factoids included with each send off, this is good stuff and I enjoy it second to the pics. Hopefully everyone will keep it up!

The famous scarf has arrived in Lakewood! Taking it with me this weekend and it's off again on Monday. Haven't yet decided where it's headed next, but cash bribes may help narrow it down!

You need to get it up to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park! Let me know if you head that way and I'll meet you there.

If the illustrious scarf could make its way to me here in Illinois by 18 August I could take it to visit Philmont Boy Scout Ranch in New Mexico when I head out there that wekend. Philmont is the largest youth camp in the world, the BSA owns approximately 214 square miles in the Sangre de Christo Range in northeastern New Mexico, and runs program for approximately 23,000 scouters each summer.

I'll make a notation on the sheet that accompanies "our" scarf. Might be 2 or 3 members down the line...

Thanks LitTrog. I'm on the list, but not sure where on the list as it seems to be somewhat randoma and at the discretion of whomever has the scarf at any particular time, so I thought I'd better get my request in now ;) Can't wait to see your photos as well.

That would be cool, except the scarf's delivery happened to coincide with a different trip to the high country that was in place months ago. Great idea, though!
