    Congratulations

Congratulations. May God grant you many, many years. I too am Eastern Orthodox. St. Peter in Ft. Worth, TX. We are Western Rite. I also am a veteran of the USAF (30 yrs) and very much like the idea of using his Navigator wings as his cap badge. Would love to see a photo. Have not received my kilt yet but was thinking of doing the same with a few of my badges. Very best wishes.

I hope this shows. I always have trouble posting photos here.

I used a scrap of the green silk from my dress, cut it into the shape of a pentagon (Army brat joke), then reinforced it with heavyweight pellon interfacing. Both sides of the pentagon are green silk, since the back of it may be seen from some angles. I then used the frog pins of the wings through the green pentagon and through the satin rosette on the cap.

Thanks. It looks great but the photo did not show here. It was on my email. I'll try to post it again for you here. I like the "Pentagon" touch.
