Amazing what you can learn from a couple of failed attempts, isn't it? I had three.
And one thing I learned from those three is that I'd rather have too short a fell than a long one - two of my failed attempts had too long of a fell and it really messed with the way the pleats hung.
This kilt looks awesome. I really appreciate the casual outfit, too. You do a good job making the kilt clothing instead of costume.

Mike: I didn't intentionally make it to my X Kilt measurements. I just didn't realize that I had until I was too far in to even consider picking all those stitches back out. I'm currently working on my fourth and made sure to measure myself thoroughly before even cutting the double width in half. I'm learning each time. I plan on making many more and hope that each one comes out better than the last.
