I used to be a smoker of cigarettes and enjoyed fine cigars, especially Romeo y Julietta Havanas but I found out last year I was born with a rare genetic condition (Marfan syndrome-where the body lacks a gene called FBN1, essential for the body's connective tissue) which makes smoking extremely dangerous, and explains why I got COPD in my late 30's. I have been quit for the past seven years. I could never smoke cigars without inhaling.
