I'm not really sure how big it is. The old Flora MacDonald Highland Games in Red Springs, NC, went by the wayside a few years ago. These folks (who are right down the road, so to speak) started these games to keep alive something in the area. This part of southeastern NC has an incredibly high population of Scottish descendants, but historically not many folks into "Scottish-American" culture. I believe this is the third year for this event. I've not been in the past, but I plan to go this year.
