    Re: Pass it on

I have read that almost as many men die each year from prostate and testicular cancer, as women die from breast cancer.

On the Kilted to Kick Cancer website they suggest that wearing the kilt allows you to answer the "Why are you kilted?" question with the new answer, "I'm kilted to kick Cancer." You can then go on to say something like "Lets talk about whats under my kilt". Then go on to explain that men over 50 should make an appointment to be checked by their doctor.

Apparently September is prostate cancer awareness month.

I think this is a great idea, although going kilted every day is allot easier for those with more than one kilt. Still finding out about this late into the month is a bit of a bummer.

It is a wonderful idea to do something like this to raise awareness of prostate cancer.
