Hello again

As of today, I haven't done *too* much of what I have wanted to do in my kilt since I literally have the cleanliness habits of a barbarian, and my wife doesn't want me to ruin the excellent kilt her mother worked so hard to make for me.
The very first thing I did in my kilt was to take my wife to a nice German restaurant on her birthday.

Other times, I have gone to a semi-famous market here in Portland called Saturday Market a few times where while I walked by, one of the street musicians broke into one of the most well known Scottish tunes which my mother would know the name. My wife was filming, so we do have the incident on tape. It's nice to have gotten my kilted theme music :-)

Some of the most fun I've had wearing it was to Heavy Metal concerts! I LOVE it when the people who have extensive body modifications such as horns and whatnot surgically implanted underneath their skin look at me like *I'm* the weirdo HA HA HA

We went to go see Iron Maiden here in Rio de Janeiro. People here in Rio are NOT used to the strange things people do or wear in the US, and will stare, point, laugh and make rude comments. My wife was nervous about me wearing my kilt out, but she commented that I seem to have gotten the collective approval of the metalheads of Rio.
I actually had some guy walk up to me and take a couple pictures like I was famous or something :-)

I also wore it out in Copacabana with our friends from North Carolina during carnaval. I can say that despite all the outlandish costumes people wear, I got A LOT of attention. There's too many funny stories to mention here

Most of you probably don't know the Black Metal band Dimmu Borgir, I got a picture with their lead singer Shagrath while wearing my kilt.
There's a really excellent band based out of Seattle called Nevermore whom we've had the pleasure of hanging out with a couple times.
Their drummer always wears a black Utilikilt while he's onstage, too bad drummers sit down so you can't tell that he's wearing one :-/

I REALLY am torn between getting a Workman's Utilikilt , or an affordable Tartan kilt.
I explained to my wife that I want another kilt to keep the one her mother made nice, and to wear the other one while doing dirtier stuff. She seemed to agree with the idea. It would be a shame to get a nice tartan kilt dirty or damaged while romping through the bush.....I have some serious thinking to do :-)
I REALLY REALLY want to do a long camp/hike through the bush this summer while wearing a kilt. I'll probably need to bring my Remington pump gun with me, as the locals in rural areas might think of me as too tempting of a target all alone in the wilderness long hair and wearing a kilt.
Hmmmmmmmm......
Okay......I think I've written enough already
