I love that question. I also find it is usually followed by "a real scot wears nothing.....?" I have a couple of responses but what does everyone else say. I can always use a few new lines.

I also like that getting asked that question(from the ladies). I have run into a few guys that seem to think that wearing a Kilt is something to laugh at and make fun of when they see one. It doesn't bug me at all because they end up looking stupid in the end. Just Yesterday I ran into one of these guys while I was out for coffee with friend. He started in on me as soon as he spotted me in a Kilt. He made some very lame attempts at smart comments and I shot him down pretty fast. He ended with a red face and nothing left to say but "are you wearing anything under your Kilt?" I looked him square in the eyes and politly told him "sorry but I am not Gay. I don't think I can give you what you are looking for here. Even if I did give it to you I don't think you could handle the whole thing!" His jaw hit the ground and he ran out before anyone else could have a turn at him. It worked really well.
