    Rounded? Do you mean the edges where the buttons and buttonholes meet could be rounded to match the cutaway on the jacket to accommodate the sporran? It could be done, although I think it would "compete" with the curves on the jacket.

    Yes, Matt, I plan to wear the leaf hose to the Stone. In fact, I thought of your lovely and talented Mrs. when I was making them, and wondered if she would tell me I were crazy for attempting them.

    Very, very nice. I've been eyeing that same pattern even though I don't know how to sew! I figure I can take a class or two. Is the waistcoat from the same pattern pack?

    No, the waistcoat is a whole separate pattern. The Simplicity 5029 is for a jacket and a kilt, but the kilt pattern is worse than useless.
