    Re: St. Louis Scottish Games

WOW, those are great pics. And, the weather looks great, too. I'm always in search of a two-day games to visit for kicks and I have (German-American) ancestry from St. Louis. I may have to think on this for next year. Thanks for the pics.

Let me know if you'll be coming up next year! Unfortunately, there are only a couple of German restaurants in St. Louis, and the best one doesn't open until the evening. There is the Scottish Arms in the Central West End, not far from the games, though...

Awww, my old 'stomping grounds,' The Scottish Arms! Tons of memories there, to include my engagement to my beautiful wife!

Todd...I see Jim McLaren in one of the photos...superb gent, yet he always seems to wear the same Highland attire for daywear! Hahaha!

Jim was the first person I saw at the main gate on Saturday.

The weather was just about perfect, with just a hint of chill across the knees.

Here's a few more pics, starting with a few more of cajunscott during the clan parade.

    The clan parade band

And a few more random kilt shots

This just amused me all day. They obviously didn't get the word that I live in the area
